On 23 December 2026, TAIA was invited to the opening ceremony of “Customs e-Invoicing Plus” system which organized by Customs Department at Customs Academy Building, Royal Thai Customs Department, Bangkok. The objective is to introduce the system and provide training on submitting price list data in electronic document (PDF) via the Thailand National Single Window (Thailand NSW) platform. The pilot project focuses on complete built-up (CBU) car. Mr. Panthong Loikulnan, Director-General of the Customs Department, presides over the ceremony, and attended by Customs executives, Customs officers, and over 70 representatives from the automotive industry. TAIA’s representative attending the event was Mrs. Charoenrat Lerdananporn, Secretary-General.

The Thai Automotive Industry Association was invited to attend the Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights on the Internet between Department of Intellectual Property, Thai Honda Co.,Ltd. and Thai Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. on 3 July 2025 at Department of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Commerce, Nonthaburi province. Ms. Nusara Kanjanaku, Director General of Department of Intellectual Property, Mr. Suwat Supakandechakul, President of The Thai Automotive Industry Association, Mrs. Charoenrat Lerdananporn, Secretary-General of the Association, Mrs. Savitree Kaewphuangngam, representative of Thai Honda Co.,Ltd. and Mr. Surachai Petpong, representative of Thai Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. signed on of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights on the Internet, which were e-commerce platforms
