On 20 April 2026, Mrs.Charoenrat Lerdananporn, Secretary-General of the Thai Automotive Industry Association (TAIA), and Mr.Vithavat Thongves, Secretary-General of Automotive Industry Club, Federation of Thai Industries, extended congratulations and participated in the opening ceremony of new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturing plant, OMODA & JAECOO and CHERY Thailand in Rayong Province.

The company approved for promotion from the Board of Investment (BOI) with an investment value of approximately 5,000 million baht. The plant will have a production capacity of at least 80,000 vehicles per year for production and sale in Thailand, as well as serving as an export base to other regions.
